For thousands of years, starting in Ancient Rome, moonstone was used to protect travelers. I wanted to design a piece that would take in all of the energy from the places I meet, the people I connect with and to remind me of my daily intentions.
Travel is not a verb, it is a mindset. You don't need to venture to foreign lands to explore this world with your mind, heart and soul. To be a traveler means to be always be curious, try new things and to never stop learning about the world. The travlers rainbow moonstone necklace is a daily reminder to experience and appreciate the full spectrum of colors life has to offer.

Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminium silicate ((Na,K)AlSi3O8) of the feldspar group. 'Rainbow moonstone is a fine colorless, transparent (or milky white) labradorite that displays a rainbow-colored iridescence. Internally repeating feldspar layers scatter the light that enters the stone creating a mystical blue glow that reminds one of moonbeams known as adularescence.' - T. Mathews
Spiritual meaning
Moonstone is often referred to as the stone of the goddess and in spirituality is often talked about in connection with the moon, intuition and the divine feminine. With its full spectrum of color, rainbow moonstone's energy helps to activate and align all of the chakras. Blue moonstone works with your crown, throat and third-eye chakras and is often referred to as the stone of new beginnings.
My intention with the design was to create balance and harmony between the energies.
The rectangle represents the structure and rigidity of the masculine and is holding onto a piece of rainbow moonstone which is traditionally connected with the divine feminine. It is a reminder that to thrive and be in a state of wholeness we need both.
Each piece is made with love and pre charged by Emily during her travels.
